I have been surfing
since 1985, but only went out four times, maybe five
back then, but I definitely caught the bug. I graduated from University
of Hawaii at Manoa in 1986 and moved to Maui in time to practice
in the
summertime swells of Lahaina and catch the occasional summer windswells
up north. Surfing has a special place in my heart along with the
sea.xx

In January 1994 I was in a car accident. That
led me to a chiropractor and massage therapy; the massage
was a key factor in my rehabilitation from the injuries,
so I decided to go to massage school in 1996 and offer my
services to others with injuries. I attended the Maui Academy
of
Healing Arts in 1997 and graduate 1998. I got licensed in
1998 and have been practicing since then.

I use an integrative
style incorporating swedish and lomi lomi strokes along with
thai style stretching, acupressure techniques, reiki, and
energy work. I am also interested in craniosacral therapy
and have about fity hours of class work in that modality.
