With 33 years of surfing and ocean experience and
as many years as a Maui resident, David is no stranger to the winding
and twisting barrels that Maui and Hawaii's North Shores have to
offer.
|
|
A love for nature and plants
led this lad to pursuing horticulture and agriculture as a
field of study from a young age. Actively participating in
the Future Farmers of America's
Vocational programs throughout high school at Lahainaluna
and continuing onto study at University Of Hawaii, David earned
his Bachelors of Science Degree in Horticulture / Business
from the Collage of Tropical Agriculture (UH).

|
After college
David worked in nursery / landscape maintenance at Lahaina
Market Place and then launched in to an extensive 14 year
stint with the Westin Maui Hotel as Landscape / Grounds Director
and eventually took on additional responsibilities overseeing
wildlife, pools, ponds and waterfall features. These skills
along with his Engineering department
management, payroll, time and attendance experience give David
the qualifications to
consult, design and maintain any of the current or planned
five star resorts in the world.

David has recently made the
decision to offer his services to the public in his capacity
as a design / consultant with his new company Maui Magic Custom
Landscapes. Specializing in cultural diversity, Native Hawaiian
Landscapes, wildlife and water features maintenance, David's
new company is sure to be an asset in many an application.
