Shark Bay International presents its new line of blanks, longboards, guns, fins and souvenirs made of Balsa wood (Ochroma pyramidalis) for those surfers' enthusiasthics. Our company, have been established in Ecuador since 1996. Ecuador is the best quality balsawood on the world. From a highest detail to offer the authentical wooden jewels of the surfing history. We are nature incline, our wood its provide from our technified plantations to avoid any impact on our forest. Our more rigurous wood selection, its been kept to meet highest consistency, weight and humidity standard's: All our balsa wood is dried oven, with the lowest defect ratio attainable. All our products can be custom made with personalized logotype, brand to the customer request.

We have 3 types of blanks to meet your needs:
Solid
Hollow core
Hibrid (hollow core filled with foam eps and balsa)
All blanks are stringered at customer reques from spanish cedar (Cedrella odorata) wich accepts resin more consistently than redwood. The stringers run top to bottom for added reinforcement. The nose and tail block are made of marquetry native hardwood (cedar, mahogany, ivory, etc) and add nice finishing touch the board. We also offer body boards, fins, clock, tide clocks, pciture frames, card boxes, and more, made in balsa wood with exotics hardwoods.

Funboards made in balsawood with some detail in marquetry and veneers in african rosewood, and pomely sapelly, stringers red cedar, nose and tail blocks made in red cedar, balsawood, and bubinga.

Longboard 9'6"x 23"x 3" made in balsa wood 3 stringers red cedar, and veneers mahogany, oak, and okola, nose and tail blocks red cedar and exotic hardwood.

funboard 8'x 23"x21/2" made in balsa wood, 1 stringers red cedard and veneers of red cedar and black laurel, nsoe and tail block of balsa and cedar.
longboard 8'2"x 22x 2 3/4 made in balsa wood with veeners inlays of bubinga, and african rosewood, and banding strips imported from Spain.
